Photon 200 is one of the most unique mobile mappers in the market. It is a multi-platform device that can be mounted on a vehicle or drone. The system is user-friendly and does not require specific expertise to install and operate. With vehicle mounting, you can achieve accuracy up to 5mm.

Long range laser

PHOTON200 is equipped with long-range and accurate measurement capabilities up to 200m with 5mm accuracy on a vehicle.

It uses a 32-channel system with 20Hz frequency and can measure 1,920,000 points per second with a triple laser echo. Additionally, it is equipped with a 26MP camera with a mechanical shutter for improved modeling results.


To achieve the best accuracy in PHOTON200, we have integrated an accurate IMU with a multi-frequency GNSS receiver.

The heading accuracy is 0.017°, and the pitch and roll accuracy is 0.005°. The PHOTON200 is also equipped with the Koronos T78, allowing for high-accuracy data collection with RTK solutions

The Trajectory Processing software by Horizon is based on a GNSS/WS/TS/RS/INS integrated POS System and includes the gAirHawk one-key point cloud pre-processing software, which enhances the accuracy of drone or mobile mapping.

The HORIZON Photon200 LiDAR mobile mapping system is a comprehensive device that combines various components such as a GNSS, IMU, mileage encoder, camera, assembly control module, and high-performance computer. The core component of the system, the laser scanner, is developed independently by HORIZON.

Easily mounted on vehicles and drones, the PHOTON200 can quickly acquire high-density laser point clouds while in motion. It is versatile and can be used for a variety of applications such as 3D digital city mapping, road design and reconstruction, street view mapping, topographic mapping, municipal component surveys, transportation infrastructure measurement, mining measurements, waterway and embankment measurement, and island reef shoreline measurement.

The processing software developed by HORIZON SIS, is a utility processor for LIDAR scanning system acquisition and point cloud processing that supports real-time monitoring and configuration of field data acquisition systems, decodes laser scanning data, calculates and displays point clouds accurately, and combines INS and GNSS data to produce accurate results and export point clouds in LAS format, making it user-friendly and intuitive.
